Project Description
This new fire station for Gordon County, GA was based on an existing prototype design by Stewart-Cooper-Newell Architects. By making just a few modifications to the prototype, Gordon County Fire Department gained significant cost and time savings in their budget and schedule, respectively.
The fire substation contains two bays, a large training room, a 400 SF mezzanine, equipment storage and four bunkrooms. The site is adjacent to a new county jail complex currently under design.
