Project Description

Construction is underway for a new fire station serving the Carolina Park development and surrounding area. It is designed to complement the development’s Lowcountry aesthetic, featuring an all-brick masonry façade underneath a sharply-pitched asymmetrical metal roof. The all-glass bay doors face the Carolina Park Children’s Center and provide the community a full view of the fire apparatus. The station provides new residential and work quarters for Mount Pleasant firefighters. A Police station suite is also included, but will not be open to the public.

Construction Administration is being performed in conjunction with a local Architectural Firm, GJS Architects, LLC.
